  • Welcome to the Infant Room!

My name is Suzie & I am the teacher in the infant room. I love working with babies and I look forward to the upcoming year full of caring, affection and stimulation for your infant.

With my twelve years of experience working in a daycare atmosphere, my goal is to help your baby develop and grow emotionally and socially in a caring and nurturing environment. Playtime, nap time, and eating times will be centered on your child’s personal schedule, and as they continue to grow, we will adjust.

I do suffer from hearing loss, as you may notice I wear hearing aids. However, please be assured that the babies have no issues letting me know when they need something. The children are under my supervision at all times, so although my sense of hearing is not 100%, there is no need to worry, as I am constantly observing the children.

Along with my extensive experience working with infants, I am CPR certified and all of my clearances are up to date.

Please feel free to speak to any of us if you have any questions or concerns!

We look forward to getting to know you and your little one this year, as we start to build a trusting relationship together

    Best wishes,

    Miss Suzie

  • Can I call the center to find out how my child is doing?

Parents can call anytime to check on their child or use the Brightwheel App to send us a message.

How do I know what my child did all day?

Everything your kiddo does for the day will be on their Brightwheel page! All bottles, naps and diaper changes are recorded through Brightwheel. Visit our enrollment page for more information and instructions to download the app.

What if someone else is picking up my infant?

A hand-written note from a parent or guardian is required or a message left on the Brightwheel app. The pick-up person must be pre-approved and added to the emergency contact sheet before pick-up. Additionally, the person picking up must have a valid form of identification to show to staff (I.D.)

    How often are toys cleaned?

Toys are cleaned multiple times a day and the room is sanitized twice a day.

    How often are blankets washed?

They are sent home on Friday or the last day your infant is at daycare. Swings, jumpers, and play mats are washed every Friday.

Can I bring frozen breast milk?

Yes, you can bring enough for the day or week. There is a freezer available for us to store it in. We will use warm water to thaw it out.

Can I call the center to find out how my child is doing?

Parents can call anytime to check on their child or use the Brightwheel App to send us a message.

What if my child is sick and needs medicine?

Medication must be in the original container with all instructions, along with the child's name. A parent must sign a medication log in advanced providing consent for the staff to administer medication to the child. This also includes Orajel.

What if my child becomes sick at daycare?

A staff member from the center will contact your family. The family has 30 minutes to make arrangements for your child to be picked up.

What does my child need at daycare?

All items your child will need is listed under parent provided items. Please do not bring extra stuff for pack-n-plays (no mattress pads, toys or bassinet these things are not allowed by state regulations).

Why do you need bottled water?

PA Child Regulations require bottled water for formula or prefilled reusable bottles. You can bring in a gallon or bottles daily, but please make sure to label the water with your child's name.

Why do I need enough bottles for the entire day?

We cannot wash and sanitize the bottles between each use.

When is daycare closed and how do I know?

We will post center closures on the board outside of all the rooms, on our websites “parent resources” page, as well as in our monthly newsletters.
